NFL Power Rankings - Week 6
Some of you are probably wondering how the heck are the Eagles still the #1 team according the GE model Power Rankings. They are 3-1 and lost last week to Detroit. Minnesota is 5-0 and beat some pretty good teams. Well the Eagles did put an ass whooping on Pittsburgh and made Cleveland and Chicago look like JV squads. Apparently Detroit couldn't beat Chicago but beat Philly! As they say, any thing can happen on any given Sunday!
The Eagles now get the Redskins on the road. I have learned the hard way to stay away from divisional match ups. Just too unpredictable since players on both sides know each other too well. The Redskins are a funny team, ranked right in the middle according our Power Rankings, but are 3-2 and have enough offensive firepower to beat the Eagles. Home dogs are tough to get against so maybe we'll see the Eagles fall from grace after this week.

As for offense and defense, Atlanta and Minnesota rank at the top in those respective categories and should continue to do so. Impressive victory by Atlanta against Denver on the road and the Minnesota defense is no fluke.
