NFL Power Rankings - Week 10

The two teams I hated the most and loved the most as kid in the early 90s happen to be the top team and worst team according to the GE rankings. I still love my 49ers (but I HATE Jed York!) and I don't hate the Cowboys as much as I used to.

The rest of the rankings are shown below. Again, the GE number is computed by taking each team's points, turnovers, and yardage for both offense and defense into consideration and see how those numbers compare to the league averages. We assume the data is normal since the sample size is rather large now (not in terms of games but in terms of plays on the field). The correlation coefficient between the GE number and win percentage is 0.759 which is better than the previous week and very strong. This is also better than the correlation coefficient of 0.687 between Football Outsider's well known DVOA (defense value above average) and win percentage.
