As for how we will approach this slate, don't overthink it with pitching. Go for the best quality that is out there and that would be Gerrit Cole. He is usually good for 10+ Ks, 7+ IPs, and will probably give up no more than 1 - 2 runs. Keep in mind that the Nationals no longer have Anthony Rendon and it was just announced that Juan Soto has tested positive for COVID-19. The weather in Washington should be a bit moist which bodes well for low scoring games. Yes, Cole is expensive but not having him and seeing him outscore the other three starting pitchers most likely means you won't be hitting the cash line tonight, especially if Cole is at 30% or higher ownership.

So how do we squeeze in the bats with a high priced pitcher? Giants/Dodgers stack! If there is any Giant you should go with, it should be Mike Yastrzemski. He matches up well against Kershaw and you can include Mauricio Dubon as well as Hunter Pence. Kershaw struggled last year against batters at the top of the order and we should expect Yastrzemski, Dubon, and Pence bat somewhere from 1 - 4. Of course the Dodgers stack is where we are really hoping to earn our money. Cueto is arguably the worst pitcher on today's slate so we will attack him and will do so with lefties. The Dodgers are a strong left-handed squad and probably the best in the league. Just pick your poison with Corey Seager, Cody Bellinger, Max Muncy, or Joc Pederson. You also have newly acquired Mookie Betts and Dodgers favorite Justin Turner. Both are righties but are very capable of hitting all types of pitchers.

Here is a sample lineup for FanDuel and you can do something similar for DraftKings.

P: Cole
C/1B: Muncy
2B: Dubon
3B: Turner
SS: Seager
OF: Pederson
OF: Yastrzemski
OF: Pence
UTIL: Torres

Gleyber Torres is the only batter from the other game. Tough to pick one since so many Yankees hitters can go yard but Torres has the most potential and has strong odds for winning AL MVP this season. At $3400 on FanDuel, he is very good value.

We will do these writeups daily with a YouTube presentation. Hopefully this analysis will make us some money in these crazy economic times! Good luck!
