MLB DFS June 17, 2017

Today we have several games in which we can see some high run totals. This will make finding a good pitcher a bit tricky. Here are my selections.

Pitcher: Chase Anderson, Zack Godley, & Seth Lugo

Anderson is on fire right now. He also is pitching against one of the worst offenses in baseball. You could pay up for Stephen Strasburg or Chris Archer but you will get better value with Anderson. Also, Milwaukee has used up its bullpen over the last few days so Anderson has a good chance of going the distance, especially if Milwaukee builds a big lead.

Godley is also on fire. Philadelphia has been struggling and the Arizona offense should give Godley all of the run support he needs.

Lugo is a bit of a risk but if you need to save money with pitching, Lugo could be your guy. He pitched great in his last start and Citi Field is a pitcher's park.

Offensive Stacks: Seattle, Milwaukee, Texas, NY Yankees, LA Dodgers, Arizona

OK, lots of stacks I like for today. Let's start with Seattle. The Mariners play in Texas where the temperature will reach 100 degrees. The ball will fly out of the yard. Also, the 4 - 6 hitters for Seattle have owned Martin Perez in the past.

Texas is another good team to stack, especially Elvis Andrus, Adrian Beltre, and Carlos Gomez. Yovani Gallardo has struggled in Texas in the past and righties are hitting him hard. This bodes well for the 2, 4, & 6 hitters for Texas.

Milwaukee should dominate San Diego today. Dinelson Lamet has been awful all year and the left-handed power of the Brewers should do well. 1-2 hitters for sure and maybe 5-6-7.

Arizona is always a good stack and I recommend 2 - 5 hitters. Jerad Eickhoff is 0-7 for good reason: he stinks! Arizona is playing great ball and the offense is due to bust out.

The Yankees are another great team to go bonkers today. The weather will be warm in Oakland and the ball can carry in the Bay Area when the temperature is in the 80s. Lefties are the way to go against Hahn and the wind is blowing towards right field. Gardner and Gregorious are good options and you will rarely go wrong with Judge. All rise!

Finally, I will end with a Dodgers stack. The young pitcher for the Reds (we will just call him Asher) is too green. Great American Ballpark can play like a little league ball park which bodes well for the 2 - 4 hitters for the Dodgers. Bellinger is a great option here for at least 1 HR.

Here are some possible lineups for FanDuel.

Anderson, Romine, Valencia, Cano, Kyle Seager, Gregorius, Cruz, Gardner, & Mallex Smith
Godley, Bandy, Thames, Sogard, Beltre, Andrus, Broxton, Judge, & Gomez
Lugo, Mesoraco, Goldschmidt, Peraza, Lamb, Owings, Peralta, Bellinger, & Taylor

Good luck and let's make some money!
