Happy Hour / Lunch Hour NBA DFS (Mar. 6, 2022)

I will have to keep this article short and sweet since I have other pressing items to accomplish on this glorious Sunday afternoon in Northern California.

Let's start with the table that shows my model's outputs as well as the top 5 optimal lineups for DK and FD. Click on the link below for the model's outputs and of course the images below show the best possible lineups using my model.

NBA DFS Google Spreadsheet

You will see that the model loves Pascal Siakam. With Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, and Malachi Flynn all out, expect Siakam to be the primary ball handler as well as the first scoring option. He can have a triple double today and break the slate. At a price of just $8.1K on FD, he will be chalk but that is chalk we have to eat.

Jokic is another one I like on FD but not DK. Just make sure you have a contingency plan in case Jokic is not well enough to play tonight. Of course swap him for DeMarcus Cousins and try to upgrade at another position with whatever options we have available. CJ McCollum or Brandon Ingram could work as upgrades in our Jokic contingency plan.

Expect Jordan Clarkson to do well with Mike Conley out. This is precisely why I like publishing these articles later in the day since we don't get such injury news until the afternoon. Clarkson is cheap and should easily hit 6x value. Reggie Jackson and Darius Garland are also two players who should be $1,000 more on FD. There is a good chance both of their salaries increase by that much later this week.

Isaiah Roby is someone I don't usually recommend. In fact I don't think I have recommended him at all this season. However, he is en fuego (and against tough competition) so this more about playing the hot hand. Finally, remember what I said about playing the top bench player against Houston? Memphis has arguably the best bench in the NBA and Kyle Anderson is a usage monster for the Grizzlies' second unit. You will thank me later once the games are over tonight.

Sorry again for the lack of structure with this article but I hope I have given you some food for thought as you consume this analysis this afternoon. A sample lineup for FD is below (can do something similar on DK) and I will share a final lineup about 30 minutes before the 4 PM PT lock. Good luck!

FD

PG: Jackson, Garland

SG: Burks, Clarkson

SF: Anderson, Jeff Green

PF: Siakam, Roby

C: Jokic
