Happy Hour / Dinner Hour NBA DFS (Mar. 9, 2022)

What a massive slate we have tonight! I wish I could offer more detailed analysis but it has taken some time to thoroughly process all of the data for tonight's 12 game affair.

As usual, here is the table that shows my model's outputs as well as the top 5 optimal lineups for DK and FD. Click on the link below for the model's outputs and of course the images below show the best possible lineups using my model.

I have two sleepers tonight: Al Horford and Hassan Whiteside. This is why DFS is both an art and a science. Remember what Keldon Johnson did to Charlotte on Saturday? Horford can do the same, especially with Charlotte putting so much focus on Jayson Tatum given his spectacular 54 point effort on Sunday. As for Whiteside, it's all about the matchup. Portland is a JV squad so there is a good chance that Whiteside sees 25 minutes and dominates Portland's weak interior defense. Take a look at the box scores for Utah when they have won by 15 or more points during the month of February. Whiteside has excellent games in those situations and lately the top frontcourt bench player for the teams playing Portland have done well.

Also, go after CJ McCollum with Brandon Ingram out and go after Brandon Williams with Anfernee Simons out. It's all about opportunity!

LeBron James is the man tonight against the weakest defense in the NBA. Houston also plays at the fastest pace so LeBron could score another 50 points tonight.

Here is a sample lineup for FD. You can do something similar for DK. Good luck!

PG: Payne, Williams
SG: McCollum, Middleton
SF: James, Trent
PF: Horford, Bagley
C: Whiteside
