Big Five Picks for 2018 NFL Week 5
Had a lot of family events going on this weekend so we will keep this post short and sweet. Here is who we like for Week 5 (lines were established by Westgate this past Wednesday for the SuperContest).
- Indianapolis +10.5
- Tennessee -3.5
- Miami +6.5
- Baltimore -3
- Green Bay -1
Of course we missed on the Colts. Still, they were only down 7 in the 4th quarter so it wasn't all that bad of a pick.
As for the other 4 teams, we just see really good value there. The line has moved significantly in Tennessee's favor during the past few days. The line is now at -6 and Buffalo's win in Minnesota 2 weeks ago was a fluke. Their dismal performances in Weeks 1, 2, and 4 is more like what we should expect form Buffalo. Miami worries us a bit after getting pummeled by New England last week and Cincinnati looks good. Still, the Bengals defense is pretty bad and Miami can make this game close. The Ravens are still not getting enough respect. Yes, Cleveland is a better team this year but Baltimore is a legit playoff contender. The Browns are still far from being considered a winning football team. Lastly, Green Bay and Detroit is always tough to call but we trust that Aaron Rodgers late game heroics will come through again!
